EFL Instructors required from February 2010 - one-year renewable contracts. Salary equivalent to £25,000 sterling tax free per annum. Accommodation and transport provided. 5 years’ EFL experience, of which 1 should be academic or industrial CELTA or Trinity TEFL certificate. Bachelors degree from a recognised University (which will be authenticated) Teaching may be at any one of a number of locations including offshore locations. The trainees are working adults generally ranging from beginner to intermediate level of English with some upper intermediate and advanced. Contractors teach up to 25 hours as part of a 40 hour working week. Standard working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 6.30 am – 2.30 pm. There is also an afternoon training shift from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm. Some weekend (Friday – Saturday) work may be required. Working with a busy team, this is a challenging and rewarding job. Technical experience or experience in the oil and gas industry may be an advantage. This post is located in and around Doha. Start Date: February 2010 Contracts are on a single status basis and are one-year in length initially and renewable.We welcome applications from both men and women for these posts, as well as teaching couples. Compensation: Tax free salary of circa £25,000 Return flight to the UK each year Single accommodation in fully furnished one bedroom apartment (not shared) Transport to and from work Multi-entry work visa/iqama (residence permit) Medical insurance Leave: 30 days each year. Leave must be approved in advance by QP-Corporate Training. Most contractors take the bulk of their leave during the summer months of July and August.
