Position/duties:
1) Teaching English at KTP-Kids English Club, developing curricula and educational
materials, attending meetings, and making class-reports. The students are aged 2-15,
preschool/elementary children, junior high school students, and some adults. There are
4-6 lessons per day.
2) Participating some events including camps for children, and cultural events.
3) Office work: Participating the meeting, planning and preparation for the lessons.
Special skills/requirements: native English speakers as a full-time teacher. Some
understanding of Japanese preferred. Interests in working with young children. Ability to
work independently with cooperation with staff. Willingness to adapt to and enjoy a
Japanese way of life. Class-organizing skill. Good singing voice. Outgoing and friendly
personality. Love to challenge. Application deadline: until the position filled
Position begins: May 1st, 2017
Hours/week: 40 hours including teaching and office working, excluding one-hour break.
Four to six lessons a day during 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. (On Saturdays, 9:30-18:30). Every
Sunday and Monday off/week.
Salary:250,000-280,000 yen/month, 3,000,000-3,360,000 yen/year (less deductions for
income tax). It will be determined by some prerequisites as below:
1) An employee with some teaching experience for children (more than 1 year)
2) An employee with TESOL/Education certificate.
3) An employee with some teaching experience for children in JAPAN (more than 1 year)
4) An employee with some Japanese understanding knowledge.
Completion bonus : will be different on job performance evaluation and will be paid in the
last month of the contract (up to 30,000 yen) .
Airfare for Employee no-residing in Japan: up to 60,000 yen from the residential place
will be paid by company in cash on employee’s arrival in Japan.

Experience required: Teaching experience with young children (kinder, elementary

ENGLISH CLUB has been giving English lessons to children aged 2-15 and adults in
Aichi prefecture since 1988. In 2001, as a sister school of KEC English School,
Education Network Corp. in Nagoya. KPT Co. Ltd. in Tsuruga-city opened a school ‘KTP-
Kids English Club’ in Tsuruga-city, Fukui-prefecture which is surrounded with beautiful
mountains and the Japan ocean. It takes one and half hours to Nagoya or Osaka by
train.
Our purpose is to give the opportunity for children to get the English language skill,
needless to say, and to get the way of international communication. International
education is our ultimate goal.
We have about 60 students, and two Japanese teachers and one foreign teacher are

1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
