Ⅲ. Job Description for HS A-Level Psychology Teacher
- Plan and teach lessons following A-level, AP or school-designed curricula that differentiate for individual student needs
- Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching styles.
- Plan with colleagues to deliver effective team teaching when possible.
- Develop assessment tasks following the guidelines and use a wide range of formative assessment tools.
- Supervise extended essays.
- Attend regular curriculum planning and student progress meetings.
- Work closely with the Coordinator to develop concurrency of learning across the senior high.
- Demonstrate a genuine, active interest in on-going professional development, including through participation in professional learning groups in the school, and contribute to Professional Development Programme by sharing recent research or teaching experience.
- Keep up-to-date records of attendance, curriculum, assessment tasks and assessment data.
- Prepare student reports and references, and other reports as required.
- Keep parents informed about student progress.

-Teaching position: RMB 25,000 - 40,000

Details: This is a part-time job of about 4 hours a day about 2-3 times per week. The job description is a Learning Coach (it’s not a teacher or tutor), but someone who has to guide two 4th grade students to finish their assignments.
InaCa is a Connections Academy Online Homeschool program. The courses and assignments are already assigned by their online teacher. The students need someone by their side to make sure they finish and complete the required work and submit it online.
Some assignments require portfolio or discussions with their online teacher. The Learning Coach wii work with them to proofread and grammar checked the work.
While there are online videos and live lessons, the learning coach will need to help them clarify any questions the student may have or help them get in contact with their teacher.
Each lesson takes about 30minutes to complete. The Learning Coach is responsible that they fiendish with the 30-40 minutes. InaCa has questions that the Learning Coach can ask the students to make sure they understand the material.
At the end of each completed course or lesson, the learning coach will need to check off the boxes that the assignments were completed.
The salary is estimated to $300-350mxn a day for 4 hours, 2-3 days a week. Mon, Tues, Weds mornings from 9:00am-1pm time. Salary, Time and dates can be negotiated.
