Qualifications and Experience: • Native English speakers. We teach with an emphasis on North American English. • • Some Spanish is very helpful. Spanish instruction is available. • 3 month minimum commitment.
ABC School General Information: • We currently have 6 classrooms and 500 students. • Our mission is to provide Granadinos with skills to compete in the tourism job market, and to own/operate their own businesses. • Our teachers love teaching and are enthused about improving the educational and employment opportunities for the people of Granada. • We provide excellent teaching materials. We have CD players, TV, DVD/VCR player, white boards, new student desks, and a very clean, well-maintained, freshly painted building. The building is not air-conditioned. • Our school is clean, friendly, supportive, and filled with motivated, interesting, appreciative Granadinos who are eager to learn English. Most of our students are age 16 to 50. We have 150 students age 6 to 12. • We teach one-hour classes of conversational EFL from 2pm-9pm, M-F. New classes start every month. We have three hour classes on Saturdays. We teach 12 months a year. ABC SCHOOL also offers Spanish classes for foreigner as well as tours. • The average length of EFL, ESL teaching experience by our Granadinos teachers is over seven years. • Most of our native speaking EFL teachers have several years of EFL teaching. Most of them have a TEFL or equivalent certification. We occasionally have EFL experts who visit us for a month, to advise the school and mentor our teachers.
ABC School Accreditation: ABC School received accreditation from INATEC, the Nicaraguan government’s educational agency overseeing technical and vocational training.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
