Details: American Schools International is a 501(c)(3) in the United States of America. It was started in 2007 for the sole purpose of planting a school in Kosovo. That school was named Prishtina High School. PHS is an American style private school where creativity, respect, and responsibility are common fundamentals of our students. We are looking for energetic teachers and administrators that have a desire to change the future of a one of the newest nations in the world! Kosovo gained its independence in 2008 and our students have the opportunity to bring about a positive change to their community and nation.

Requirements:
- Citizen of United States of America
- Bachelor’s Degree in the area you will be teaching
- Believer and follower of Jesus Christ
- Availability to raise financial funds for living expenses
Preferred in addition to the above mentioned:
- Teaching Certificate
- Teaching License
- Experience in teaching
Salary / Pay: Each employee will receive a round-trip airfare stipend. International employees are asked to cover regular living expenses which total about USD 1,000 per month. That will allow the teacher to live comfortably. Any training or assistance needed for raising financial support from family and friends will be available upon request. If the teacher decides to stay for additional years a living stipend for rent/utilities/insurance/travel will be available.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)
5. Reimbursement for annual round trip flights
