Salary: €770 Eur
Details: We seek energetic, creative, initiative-takers who are native English speakers , love working
with children. Counselors live on camp, create and lead activities and ESL classes.
American Village camps are for French children, ages 8 to 17 years old. Our English-immersion
camps create a positive environment where it is fun, natural , necessary to use English.
We hire counselors for 1 to 10 weeks from March to August at 10 locations across France. We
seek camp counselors who are native English speakers.
- previous childcare experience
- Minimum age of 20 years old
- no criminal history
- high school diploma
- Be prepared to organise activities, sports, skits, song, dance, etc!
* A TEFL certification is NOT a requirement, but is a plus.
* Knowledge of French is NOT a requirement.
* Musicians are very welcome to apply.
A unique experience in rural France, working on a multi-cultural team and meeting people from
all over France as well as Anglophone countries across the globe - all while having fun with the
campers under your care.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)
5. Reimbursement for annual round trip flights
6. Furnished apartment or housing allowance
