1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Details: I. Basic mission of the position:
Promote the development of knowledge, skills and moral values in students in a progressive manner during the process of teaching, according to the rules and procedures established by New England Association of Schools and College -NEASC-, Counsil of International Schools -CIS-, Ministerio de Educación and PUNTACANA International School.
II. Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Meet the objective of the curriculum for your level.
2. Develop an annual and weekly plan according to the needs of students and the academic goals of the subjects.
3. Performing the learning process according to the Lesson Plan, using different strategies, resources and audiovisual materials.
4. Driving your duties and professional conduct according to the Teacher’s Manual.
5. Maintain communication with students in the language of instruction (English, Spanish or French).
6. Develop skills and abilities through teaching different content.
7. Assess students according to school guidelines (diagnosed, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) through various instruments.
8. Keep organized academic record with updated information of the learning process of the students, as well as keep the coordinator informed about students and their learning process.
9. Keep the classroom organized, clean and updated academically, according to the monthly events.
10. Participate in training and educational update.
11. Resolve any conflicts that arise in the classroom, and refer to Counseling area if necessary.
12. Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
13. Cooperate with any substitution at school if necessary.
14. Attend all meetings scheduled by the school and arrange meetings with parents to discuss academic, behavioral or special needs of students.
15. Monitor any area of the school during recess or at the end of the school day.
16. Prepare the flag ceremony as assigned by the Coordinator.
17. Cooperate with extracurricular activities, events or celebrations as an individual or as a team member, according to the school’s academic calendar.
18. Upgrade and decorate the Bulletin Board.
19. Supervision and monitoring of food and personal hygiene of students.
20. Check daily school schedule for all students.
21. Comply with the policies and procedures established by the process.
22. Perform other duties related and complementary to the position.
