Details: In conjunction with our Balboa school in San Diego, Balboa international Education offers Chinese students the opportunity to receive a U.S. high school diploma, in addition to their Chinese diploma. This greatly increases the students’ ability to get accepted into the best U.S. colleges and preparing them to study abroad. Our fantastic students are dedicated and focused on their studies which allows our teachers to have a big influence on their educational journey.
These are not typical ESL teaching positions. You will be teaching subject courses such as Introduction to English Literature, World Literature, American Literature, British Literature, Composition, Economics, American Government and US history. Our most recent graduates have been accepted to universities in the US, Singapore and Australia. So if you have subject teaching experience or are currently an ESL teacher who is looking for change, we would like to hear from you.
Our program is located in a number of Chinese cities including smaller more traditional cities such as Hegang and Mudanjiang, large metropolises such as Guangzhou, Dongguan or Chengdu and the beautiful coastal cities of Quanzhou and Dalian. We have both foreign and Chinese staff on hand to assist teachers with any help they may need throughout their contract.
What we’re looking for:
- Native speaker from US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- TEFL certificate or 2 years documented teaching experience
- Some teaching experience is preferred
- Clean criminal record
- Passion for education
Contract details:
Salary: 16,000 RMB - 20,000 RMB. Depending on qualifications/experience.
Apartment: Free single apartment is provided.
Hours: 40 hours a week. Maximum of 25 teaching hours.

Requirement:
• Native English-Country Speaker.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or above), education major, or with teacher
Certificate or TEFL Certificate
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and teach lessons following the IB curricula that differentiate for individual
student needs and support students whose first language is not English.
2. Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching styles.
3. Regularly contribute to curriculum planning and development including
interdisciplinary units of work and the development of trans-disciplinary skills.
4. Plan with colleagues to deliver effective team teaching when possible.
