Job Title: Native EFL Teacher
Reports to: Principal or equivalent senior leader
Job Purpose As an EFL teacher. You will be responsible for developing the knowledge and understanding of reading, writing and speaking English. You will prepare inspiring lessons, encouraging independent learning, aspiration and academic excellence to students whose first language is not English. Working proactively and in collaboration with students, parents and colleagues, you will work to raise the linguistic ability of all students. Initial Objectives
• Integrate quickly into the culture and ethos of the school and country
• Deliver engaging lessons utilising the local English curriculum to a variety of ages
• Develop strong relationships with the staff in the school • Contribute to the development of the English Language curriculum in the school
Overall objectives
• Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy including the correct use of spoken English
• Use an appropriate range of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for students of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions, monitoring learners’ progress and levels of attainment
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment to secure students’ progress
• Give students regular feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage students to respond to the feedback, reflect on progress, their emerging needs and to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study
Behaviour and Safety:
• Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for students, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
• Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students’ needs to inspire, motivate and challenge students
• Maintain good relationships with students, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary
• Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour, which are expected of students
• Have high expectations of behaviour, promoting self-control and independence of all learners
• Carry out break, lunchtime and after-hours duties as directed
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school,

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
