. ROUSSEAU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is looking for visionary educational leader to become the principal of the new primary school, opening in 2019. The principal will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of an excellent education for all children in their schools and will continuously develop CAMBRIDGE education model for ROUSSEAU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. Our principal champion effective, evidence-based pedagogy and recruit locally and abroad a team of outstanding teachers and school support staff to ensure that every child in our second primary school makes exceptional academic progress – particularly in the core subjects of literature , English and mathematics , – but also benefits from a broad, enriching curriculum.

Responsibilities Leading the ROUSSEAU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL school:
• Create partnerships with schools abroad and develop exchange programs for students
• Identify and select potential teaching partners for ROUSSEAU international school
• Leading the school and its staff in order to achieve extremely high standards of teaching and learning, behaviour and attainment
• Implementing and coordinating the vision and strategy for the school
• Creating a culture of educational excellence and embedding the ethos of a learning organisation
• Forming effective external relationships with parents, the local community and other stakeholders
• Working with other senior staff to oversee the use of finance, facilities, catering and other resources across the school Building a highly effective school staff:
• Identifying the staff needed to effectively support children’s learning and recruiting highly motivated and able individuals to fulfil these roles
• Creating structures which deploy staff in the most effective ways to achieve the school vision
• Mentoring and motivating staff on an ongoing basis and identifying their professional development needs
• Working with colleagues to refine the principles for a model which can enable all children, , to achieve at the highest academic levels – in particular to gain thorough fluency in language and numeracy so that they can progress to higher education and ultimately a profession of their choice
• Supporting ongoing evaluation of the curriculum and redesign where necessary, particularly English and mathematics
• Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures to support pupils with special

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified to degree level and above, master’s degree preferred
Qualified to work in Cameroon Experience, knowledge & alignment
Leadership experience (10 – 20 years); a track record of success leading education provision in challenging contexts, delivering great outcomes for all students, regardless of background or prior attainment
Specific experience of high school , primary or early years education
Experience and understanding of the learning and emotional needs of very young children
Some knowledge of current international thinking and best practice in educational achievement

Ⅱ. Positions Available
Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
