Details: Job Summary
Not only are we the biggest English academy in Ciudad Real, but we are also a Cambridge English Premium Preparation Center and we have vacancies for motivated and qualified but most of all professional EFL teachers, from September 2022 to June 2023 .To teach 20 hours a week to students aged from 3 to adults. One-to-one lessons are also available. We offer a renewable contract and paid holidays. Help with looking for accommodation. Competitive salary. Covid-19 health and safety regulations to protect staff and students.
Details of Position
Being a well-established school since 2009, we specialize in the teaching of English as a foreign language. But also offer classes in German and French. Class size is small, with a maximum of 8-9 students per class, maintaining established COVID distancing procedures. We teach Monday to Thursday, with a mandatory 2 hours of paid teacher class preparation on Friday mornings. Weekends are free! The school is fully heated and air-conditioned and has wired and wi-fi internet access. We are an official Cambridge English Premium Exam Preparation Centre with an exceptional student pass rate and enter candidates for levels: PET to CPE. We offer the opportunity for professional development through observation, feedback, and Cambridge training. All teachers receive continual support from the directors of studies. Assistance in finding permanent accommodation is also given as well as helping complete all necessary paperwork for employment and medical.

Ciudad Real is the capital city in the province of Ciudad Real and has a population of about 74,000 inhabitants. The cost of living is low. Ciudad Real has a range of modern shops to include modern conveniences to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. It is also well located for visits to the following cities: Cordoba- 1 hr., Seville 1 hr. and 40 minutes and Malaga- approx. 2hrs 15 mins and Madrid- 1 hr. (times shown are by high-speed train)

Qualifications
* TEFL Certificate essential. CELTA or similar Teaching Young Learners qualification is an advantage.
* University Degree preferable
* Minimum 2 year’s teaching experience preferred and experience with Cambridge exams is desirable.
* Working knowledge of Spanish is valued.
* Must be prepared to teach mainly children as well as adults.
* A willingness to develop personally and professionally.
* Must have a high level of spoken and written English.
* Non-EU citizens must have a valid EU work permit.
* Minimum 2 reference letters a MUST!! Your CV will not be considered unless it is accompanied with the minimum number of reference letters.

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
