A Teacher with degree and CELTA or DELTA certificate, min. 2 year TEFL experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and dependable candidate with a strong passion for Italy’s rich cultural heritage and lifestyle. Knowledge of Italian would also be an asset.

Benedict School Carpi, (Modena) has an urgent new opening for one EFL Teacher. Start date Feb 1st 2023. Carpi, situated in the province of Modena in Northern Italy, is a picturesque medieval town, surrounded by Emilia-Romagna’s beautiful countryside, with Lambrusco vineyards and historic renaissance cities on its doorstep.
The area is home to many of Italy’s much celebrated exports, such as Balsamic Vinegar, Ferrari and Pavarotti as well as some of the country’s finest and celebrated cuisine. With great links to other historical and commercial centres like Bologna and Milan, you will find yourself spoilt for choice in terms of things to see and do.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and dependable candidate with a strong passion for Italy’s rich cultural heritage and lifestyle. Due to expansion we are particularly interested in teachers experienced in working with Children & Teenagers.
Duties:
Responsible for class preparation and/or curriculum and lesson planning.
Keep record books and prepare all related materials : Assessments, Evidence of student progress including attendance & progress reports.
Work with Adults or Children/Teenagers in individual, semi-individual and group settings.
Position details:
Teaching General English to students at all levels up to CPE proficiency and Business English on-site and off-site with a min. guaranteed 100 hours per month over an 10 month contract, renewable for a full school calendar year.
Teachers normally work more than the guaranteed hours.
and can reach 25 - 28 paid teaching hrs/week.
Working days : Monday to Friday, Saturday morning occasionally.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications :
English mother tongue level, EU passport holders only or British Passport with Italian permesso di soggiorno.
BA plus recognized teaching certification (CELTA or DELTA)
Experience with Children is a must.
Minimum teaching experience : 2 years to a wide variety of ages and levels including young learners and teenagers.
Experience with Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses (CYL; KEY; PET; FCE; CAE; CPE; IELTS)
Experience with Multimedia Interactive Boards is a plus.
Experience with on-line courses (w/Skype-ZOOM) is a plus.
Knowledge of Italian is an asset (not a necessity)
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary with a spacious fully furnished apartment with WIFI, shared with another teacher in single rooms, included in the package. Medical Insurance is also included. Transport to and from school and corporate clients is provided by the school.

2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
