Details: Job Title: WASC Specialist and Curriculum Facilitator
Job Overview:
The WASC Specialist and Curriculum Facilitator manages the institution’s WASC accreditation process while also supporting curriculum development and implementation. This role works closely with departments to prepare for accreditation reviews, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accreditation Preparation:
- Prepare self-study reports and materials for WASC accreditation reviews.
- Coordinate data collection and documentation for the accreditation process.
- Lead preparation for site visits by accreditation teams.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on the institution’s adherence to WASC standards.
- Prepare annual reports and submit required documentation to WASC.
- Curriculum Facilitation:
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and review curriculum, ensuring alignment with WASC standards.
- Support faculty in creating and refining curriculum and instructional materials.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support on WASC accreditation, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
- Serve as a resource for accreditation and curriculum-related questions.
- Documentation Management:
- Manage records and documentation related to accreditation and curriculum development.
- Maintain and update accreditation and curriculum information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Experience with WASC accreditation processes and standards.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
